Well, it would be truly unbelievable to see whales and orcas passing just right next to you, wouldn't it? We were not so lucky and came to the town just after the whales season... Anyway, we had a first opportunity to try our camping gear as we headed straight to the camping ACA, which was just by the side of the town,in front of the blue ocean.

We enjoyed beautiful views of the bay for couple of days. Finally, we got lucky to upgrade our tent to an apartment in the center of Puerto Madryn on the 8th floor. Thanks to our couch-surfing host Julia. We stayed at her apartment for several days and in a meanwhile visited Peninsula Valdes- wonderful place where penguins, sea lions, and different kinds of birds,as well as, guanacos live!

unfortunately I had injured my Achilles during our stay in Buenos Aires, thus, we had to pay a visit to a local doctor. Nothing special, but for 10 minutes of Google translator, doctor charged us more than 100 eur...Oh well, thanks to the insurance, it will be paid back to us!

All in all, Puerto Madryn is a lovely summer town and we would love to come back there one day to visit Julia, and also to have a chance to see whales and Orcas! This dream, sooner or later, must come true as well!
Besooooos,
